Maestranza, loosely translated to ‘the people who are around you helping’, is a brand that pays tribute to the team at the Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A., our factory in Nicaragua. The brand features a Spanish Market Selection wrapper from Mexico’s San Andrés Valley completing the portfolio alongside the existing AMS and EMS offerings. With a binder from Brazil and a filler blend consisting of a variety of Nicaraguan Criollo tobaccos from Condega, Jalapa, Pueblo Nuevo and Santuario, a Corojo varietal from the Dominican Republic.
Maestranza is the U.S. exclusive counterpart to the EU exclusive brand Wunder|Lust.
